Joe Di Benedetto

Joe has extensive experience in what it takes to teach the fundamentals of winning baseball. Over 20 of his former players have signed professional contracts with both Zack Minor and Chris Stynes reaching the Major leagues. He also does private lessons and operates baseball camps in Michigan. Prior to joining Northwood, Coach "D" was a scout in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.

  • Has won 616 games as a Head Coach

  • Over 20 of his former players have signed contracts in Professional Baseball

She's back!

Elexia is from Holland, MI and is playing softball at Northwood University while studying Sports Management. 

With 10 years of softball experience she has played a range of positions but specializes in Catching and Hitting. 

 

Logan Heath

Logan graduated from Merrill High School and is attending SVSU majoring in Exercise Science. He has play baseball for 15 years and played all positions, but is mainly a catcher. 

Logan's passion for baseball shows in his lessons at Baseball Heaven. He is very excited to work with the next generation of ball players.

He is available for hitting, fielding, pitching and catcher's lessons.

 

Katie Ardouin

Katie is giving softball lessons (pitching, hitting, catcher) and baseball hitting lessons at Baseball Heaven on Sundays from 3:00-6:00pm. She also hosts various softball clinics throughout the year.

She has coached softball at the varsity level for the past 12 years, little league baseball for 6 years and travel baseball for a little over a year. Katie has played softball for almost 30 years and her main positions are pitcher and infielder.

Jonathan Vance

Jonathan currently works at Northwood University as their primary baseball pitching coach. Prior to NU, he was a pitching coach for the Royal Oak Leprechauns of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He also worked with the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds organizations coaching in their Summer Youth Development Camps.


Jonathan is from Claremont, CA and graduated from Claremont High School in 2014. Following his high school career as a pitcher and infielder, Jonathan played at both East Los Angeles College and Valley City State University in North Dakota.

Following his collegiate career, Vance pitched three seasons in independent professional baseball. He spent time in the Frontier League, the American Association and in the Atlantic League.
 

Jonathan will be available for lessons from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday-Thursday.
